Gabel Energy is now exclusively using CHEERS for HERS verification.
CalCERTS, our previous HERS provider company, closed on August 31st, 2024. All projects and associated forms registered in their database are no longer accessible.
Gabel now uses CHEERS for HERS verification. Currently open projects – either already submitted to the building department, waiting construction, or under construction without a final occupancy permit – can be transferred to the CHEERS database, at a fee, if requested by the project team.
Send us a project transfer request by completing this form with the projects you would like us to transfer to CHEERS. We will need either the project address or our Gabel project ID number (ex. 21340 – Blanco Residence) as found on the top of any energy compliance report.
